Performing Arts at BHS consists of three sub departments – Drama, Dance and Music. BHS offers classes for students who have never before taken a drama, dance or music class, and classes for those with all levels of experience. These classes bring joy and personal enrichment while fostering creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are so necessary for personal, educational and professional growth. Students in Performing Arts classes report that these classes help them have fun during their school day, build confidence, reduce stress, develop friendships and become part of a welcoming community. Year after year, students tell us that their music, drama and/or dance class is the best part of their school day.
